Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Accessibility is a founding principle of EcoAccess AI, not a checkbox. This website is built to work for every person who visits it, regardless of ability, device or assistive technology. We are targeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA as required by the European Accessibility Act (EAA) Directive 2019/882.
What we have done
- All text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.2 AAA colour contrast (7:1 minimum)
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone
- Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements
- A skip-to-content link is the first focusable element on every page
- Page structure uses semantic HTML5 landmarks:
header, main, footer, nav, section - All images carry descriptive
alttext; decorative images usealt="" - Form inputs have explicit, linked
<label>elements - Error messages use
role="alert"andaria-live="polite"so screen readers announce them - The mobile navigation is operable by keyboard and announces its open/closed state via
aria-expanded - The cookie notice is keyboard-navigable and dismissable with Escape
- All animation and transitions respect
prefers-reduced-motion - The site is fully usable at 320 px viewport width and 400% browser zoom without horizontal scrolling
- No content flashes more than three times per second
- All fonts are self-hosted — no dependency on external CDNs
- Page language is declared on the
<html>element (lang="en")
